With so much turmoil going on in the world, it is important to remain cognizant of areas that are not receiving attention and coverage.

 

There are intense humanitarian crises currently in Haiti, Kenya, Congo, and Sudan. Food insecurity is perhaps the biggest concern as scores of people are without nourishment.

 

Dema Dimbaya is partnering with groups in a multinational effort who are engaged in bringing relief to those affected:

 

For Kenya, @bantu_ntu / bantumuntu on TikTok, is seeking to provide meals and flood relief items to seniors and local residents who have been adversely impacted by strong storms

 

For Sudan/ South Sudan; which has been locked in an intense civil war since Spring 2023, Martha

(Martha.chuol7 - TikTok / @Martha.chuol IG) will provide nourishment and other life essentials to those who are in need

 

For Haiti, Dema Dimbaya will provide meals to children who are without nourishment due to their school suspending operations as gang violence continues in the streets of Port au Prince.

 

For Congo, we are seeking to assist an orphanage - Orphelinat Bethsaïda Goma on facebook - under the direction of François in Goma with nourishment and other needs to support the community amid the war taking place.

 

Money raised will be split evenly between Sudan/ South Sudan, Haiti, Congo, and Kenya. Whatever the amount you can donate will be greatly appreciated.
