Dema Dimbaya provides Christmas gifts to children residing in an orphanage in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

 

Due to the ongoing war for resources in the mineral rich nation, many are experiencing loss of homes, education, nourishment, and family. There are several heartbreaking stories. Despite the challenges, Dema Dimbaya wanted to place some smiles on the faces of the children with Christmas gifts. The children are quite happy and appreciative.

 

In the summer of 2024, Dema Dimbaya assisted this same orphanage with meals to help offset food insecurity challenges. In the first quarter of 2025, Dema Dimbaya will work with the orphanage to replace beds and mattresses in poor condition (replacement of beds and mattresses in Congo will follow a similar project of Dema Dimbaya replacing beds and mattresses for an orphanage in Haiti in December 2020).
